Quantum Capital Management (QCM) is a futures and options brokerage firm specializing in full-service, discount, and online trading platforms. Technology is essential and is used in many ways for communication, trade execution, and market data feeds.

QCM presented a requisite to Axiom to migrate offices and expand current server capacities while incorporating a disaster recovery plan. In addition, mobile user access and site to site VPN was requested. Originally, QCM employed full time IT personnel incurring substantial costs every month. The goal was to alleviate the need for an internal employee and develop a system capable of supporting the growing business.

Axiom met with QCM to discuss the business needs and promptly delivered a solution to accomplish the demands of the financial industry. The project utilized Dell servers, Microsoft Exchange 2003, Microsoft Windows XP along with Sonicwall firewalls. Outlook Mobile Access (OMA) was provided to handheld users to allow secure email synchronization over the web. A disaster recovery plan consisting of offsite data backups and redundant system access between offices was implemented to meet the requirements of financial regulations. Axiom currently provides end user support and infrastructure maintenance to QCM.
